Yesterday was my 18th wedding anniversary. I realized that I don’t make too many anniversary cards and, in honor of my special day, I made some to share with you today. The first two are anniversary cards and the last is not. I’ll get to that later.
For this card, I used the new Artbooking from Close To My Heart. I just received it on Saturday and this is my first time using it. I am quite excited to use it more in the future. This is more of the traditional elegant card.
This is a cute card you would give your spouse. It is using one of my all time favorite paper packs from Close To My Heart called Mayberry. Sad to say it is retired and happy to say I still have plenty left. I don’t know about you, but there are some papers that I love and use when I can and some papers that I don’t even touch. It might be hard to see, but I inked around all the edges with Champagne ink to add some depth.
This last card started as an anniversary card and changed by the time I was finished. Pare’ and I decided it worked better for that instead. I haven’t even started Christmas cards, but now I have a jump start on Valentine’s Day. Here is your sneak peek at two new stamps from the Close To My Heart’s Constant Campaign. This campaign runs from mid-October through December.
I included photos of the inside of the card and the envelope. My favorite stamp of the Lots of Love stamp set is the mailbox. I used it everywhere.
