Christmas Cards

I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything in a LONNNNNNG time.  My last time was at Thanksgiving and now we are a couple of weeks away from Christmas.  I have been busy working on Christmas cards and have even sold some.  Yeah!!!  I wanted to share some cards with you.  I took some pictures when the lighting was good and should be sharing them in upcoming days.   Here are the first two.

PICT0531
I stamped the light set to make a longer strand of lights and then colored them in with CTMH alcohol markers.  I then added a line with a white gel pen(probably hard to see in picture) and then applied liquid glass over them.  I then cut them out after everything was dry.  I cut the cat out and then cut the arms apart(a harmless operation) to have the strand fit between them.  For the “Santa Paws”, I stamped the oval which actually says “Santa Claus” and cut it apart to fit the banner and “Santa Paws” that I cut using Cricut Craft Room.

This little doggie is in the Christmas spirit.  For this card, I cut the dog out and then cut a little slit along the mouth line(another painless operation) to insert the baker’s twine.  It is extremely hard to tell, but I did use cocoa embossing powder on his nose and eye to give some dimension.
